The first sentient species to live on the XM world are the nephlim. The pandoran were shortly after them.

The nephlim can be found spred through out the world, but their main place of living is on their forested island. On this island grows a large tree that spans almost the entire surface, and at the top of the tree hangs a huge crystal.

Their buildings are large shells pulled out of the ocean... and all along the tree branches grow crystals, probably shards that have fallen off of the main crystal.

The nephlim are the most docile of the races in XM, their attitude would probably make you think they are lazy and extremely easy going. but they are extremely hard workers who bear a great resemblance to ants. They are also the shortest of the races, where the taleans tower over 6 feet, and everyone else is average 5-6 feet, the nephlim average 4-5 feet.


The nephlim are very free with their mating process, and have litters of many. leading to rather large families. They also have no real use for currency, since they have everything they need. and are typically generous to outsiders. The nephlim are not really a waring type race, but can be quite effective in numbers.

The Pandorans are the natural inhabitants of the XM world, along with their distant cousins the Nephlim.

Freed from slavery during the great conflict, They now live in the desert inside an oasis canyon. (not unlike the grand canyon) Through the canyon flows a river of fresh waters. Along the walls of the canyon grow various plants providing shelter and food in the heat. Their buildings are build into the walls of the canyon, reminiscent of either an ant of termite colony.


Pandorans elect their leader and their council. This happens only after the last leader has passed on into death. The present leader is a young woman who has blood relations to the previous leader. She rules strict and fair. She has a rule of no theft going in the country at the time, and it seems to be the thing that the pandorans hate the most, since they are naturally kleptos. Other then that the Pandorans are pretty easy going, and frisky.
Half breeds tend to only be half human and half Nephlim, since Pandorans and Taleans don't get along at all!

All Pandoans hair is a shade of green. going from the darkest teal, to the lightest olive, or the brightest aqua, to the deepest forests green. They also all have purple eyes. Other then that they are pretty much human in shape, other then their prehensile tails. Their tail fuzz and their hair always match. XD


Pandorans can be any class, but they prefer to be Rogues/assassins mainly because of their Illusion magic.
Pandorans are the only race on the XM world, where everyone of their race can use magic... tho most of the time they are only capable of Illusion magic. some of the more powerful ones can stray into the rest of the wind element.

I only have a small few Pandoran characters made... and even less posted.

Unfortunately I have less decided over the Pandorans then the Taleans... so yeah... XD

The Talean race is a power war tribe that has survived the centuries in seclusion, and personally they prefer it that way.
Long ago, about 1000 years after the shattering if Xiro's mask, The Mizgarth was appointed to guard 1/5th of the mask for all eternity. But she was week from the battle scars and made some soldiers to help her.

She took 5 great Human warriors, ones with strength, trust, and honor. then 'slayed' them, trapping their souls in their corpses. Then she buried the corpses under ashes from the very mountain that the mask is sealed under. She then breathed life into them with flames, and they crawled out of the ash anew, and were from then on called Taleans.

They appeared as tall muscular people wearing tough redish skin, eyes ablaze with yellow flames. And atop of their heads were horns, sturdy and strong. Their hair had turned the white colour of ash, and looked like it would blow away if the wind blew too hard.

Their progency today look as they did then, and live to be about 500 winters old. They lay eggs in a batch of two, and reach maturity around 80 winters. When they reach maturity they usually get a black tatoo somewhere on their body as a sign of fertility.

Males are usually much more aggressive then females, and compete for the female's attention. They will usually lock horns and pull away from eachother. That usually results in one of them to break their horns, thus killing them since the horn usually rips a large chunk of skull out with it. The winner gets the females to add to his nest. Because of the fact that males are so aggressive they tend to kill eachother often, leaving the females alive. Aka there are more females then males, so the mizgarth has allowed it so that one male can be with more then one female, thus the population will stay up.
When a female has a child she lays only one egg ebony black in colour.

The Taleans protect a large area of land around where The Mizgarth and her mask reside, preventing all outsiders from going into the territory. Their favourite weapons for that task is composite longbows, where they can take their target down quickly from afar. Tho if they have to they will enter melee combat with the intruders, using their claws, spikes, and horns to impale.

Taleans have several classes:
Ranger - protects the borders of the territory. This is the preferred class of the Taleans.
Defender - guards the walls and gates of the talean city.
Fighter - ummm duh
Beserker - general mercenary that goes into frays of rage
*Banshee - The Mizgarth's personal elite guards, they are there to do as she tells then to. She chooses only certain Taleans born with the gift of magic, usually when they become of age is when the gift shows up. She will then take them and give them a special tatoo across their entire body, one that glows eternally, and helps amplify their magic.

(*Ask first before making a banshee)

The Talean city is centered around an active volcano that is constantly spewing out ash, making it fall like a soft snow occasionally. The city itself looks like that painting of stairs that go in many directions, but instead of stairs it is roman/gothic type architecture, and no gravity defying.

That is all I can think of for the time being...

Ten thousand years in the past, there was a cataclysmic event that changed the world.
There was a huge war between the Magical and wise Avians, and the Humans of technology and advancement. It spanned the whole world, and all the inhabitants were involved.

The cause of that war is unknown, all that is known is that the end of the war there was an event that caused the end of most magics and most technologies.

Life pretty much started over, and the war of the past pretty much vanished from memory, almost like a myth. People have been living well, and civilization has been booming. Humans with their kingdoms all over, Pandorans in their desert oasis, Taleans with their mountain sanctuary, Nephlims and their giant tree, and Avians long extinct.

But the myth from the past is about to come back.

In one of the human kingdoms a Holy general has gained control of a region and has set his sights on spreading his beliefs, even if it has to be forcefully.

That is the main thesis of my story... and Yes I know it is pretty generic.
I am posting the character specie/race/class/etc info here since it seems to be a good idea, it isn't as busy as DA... and like I was really using it for anything else.

More to be posted later, when I get the pics drawn... I might even write a more detailed thesis.
